We were driving home from my parents’ place last night, and David Francey’s Ballad of Bowser MacCrae was playing on the car stereo. From the back seat Jack announced that the music was making him sleepy. When he was a baby I used to put him to sleep on my shoulder, dancing slowly to the music on the disc that contained this song. It may have just been a coincidence, but I’m going to have try this one again late one night when he just won’t go to sleep…
A noteworthy sleep-aid
